About the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES)

The 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) is one of the most prestigious Officer Entry routes in the Indian Army. Unlike UPSC-based entries, TES is open directly after Class 12 and does not require an engineering degree at the time of application. Selected candidates undergo a rigorous 4-year integrated training programme — first at a Cadet Training Wing and then at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun — after which they are granted a Permanent Commission as a Lieutenant in technical arms and services of the Indian Army.

TES-57 is the 57th batch of this scheme, inviting candidates for the July 2027 intake.
