🔍 Suchenow Analysis
Only 4 vacancies make this one of the most competitive APPSC notifications in 2026 — expect 10,000–20,000 applicants for a single-digit seat count. The FRO is the highest-ranked forest officer post in this batch, earning ₹48,440+ vs ₹25,220 for Forest Beat Officers. If you hold a B.Sc. Forestry or Zoology degree, this is the single best APPSC opportunity available this cycle. The Physical Efficiency Test is eliminatory — start fitness preparation immediately alongside CBRT prep, as both standards are strict for a gazetted forest officer role.
