Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
- 10+2 pass from a recognised board, PLUS Motor Mechanic certificate from recognised institution or ITI with 3 years practical experience in a reputed workshop, OR
- 3-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering from a recognised institution
Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor):
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology from a recognised university (verify in official notification)
Age Limit
- Motor Mechanic: 18 to 25 years as on 27 October 2026
- Education & Stress Counsellor: As per official notification
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules
Nationality
- Indian citizens, including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan
- Male candidates only for both posts
