Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Electrical: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks
- Mechanical: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
- Candidates must have cleared the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024 written round AND appeared for the ESE 2024 interview, but NOT been recommended for final selection by UPSC
- Degrees from Open/Distance Learning (ODL) mode are not accepted
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2026)
- General/EWS: Maximum 28 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 31 years (3 years relaxation)
- SC/ST: 33 years (5 years relaxation)
- PwD: Additional 10–15 years relaxation as applicable

- Basic Pay: ₹40,000/month in E-1 (IDA) Scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000
