Naval Dockyard, Karwar (NSRY Karwar) is a premier ship repair yard of the Indian Navy situated in Karnataka. It trains trade apprentices across engineering and technical trades under the Apprentices Act. The Dockyard offers hands-on training with naval vessels, submarines, and equipment. Educational Qualification
- Most trades: 10th standard pass with 50% + ITI certificate in the relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT)
- Rigger: 8th standard pass
- Crane Operator & Forger and Heat Treater: 10th standard pass (no ITI required)
- If marks are in grades/CGPA, conversion to percentage is mandatory
