About RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2026
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) across India have released CEN 07/2026 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) – Undergraduate Level posts. A total of 1,688 vacancies are available across four posts — Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk — spread across all RRBs in the country.

Pay Scale & Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in 7th CPC Pay Matrix. In addition to basic pay, Railway employees receive DA, HRA, transport allowance, medical facilities, free pass/PTO, pension, and other allowances as per Railway service rules.

Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognised board
- For Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist: must also have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer
- Degree holders (graduates) are also eligible to apply

- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates from CBT-1, 120 questions in 90 minutes — General Awareness (50), Mathematics (35), General Intelligence & Reasoning (35)
- Typing Skill Test (TST): Only for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist posts — qualifying nature
