Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc.(Engg.) OR Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Structural: Civil Engineering degree/diploma
- Piping & Equipment: Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma
- EWS: Chemical Engineering diploma
- Civil: Civil Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech only)
- Instrumentation: Instrumentation Engineering degree/diploma
Experience Required
Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant post-qualification industry 3D modelling experience using software such as PDMS, E3D, SP3D, or equivalent CAD/modelling tools in the petroleum refining, petrochemical, or oil & gas sector. Discipline-wise:
- Structural, Piping, Equipment, Instrumentation: 4–6 years
- EWS (Chemical): 6 years minimum

What is 3D Plant Modelling? (EIL Associate Modeller Role)
Associate Modellers at EIL work on 3D plant design and modelling for large-scale petroleum refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, and infrastructure projects. They use industry-standard software like AVEVA PDMS/E3D, Intergraph SP3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D and related tools to create detailed 3D models of structural, piping, civil, instrumentation and equipment layouts.
