1. Engineering Manager (1 Post) | ₹2,00,000/month | Age: 40–57 years
Qualification: Degree in Naval Architecture Engineering / Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
Essential Experience:
- 15 years of managerial experience in Ship design / Shipyard / R&D organization
- Of which, 5 years as in-charge of a section or department
- Proven track record in shipbuilding or maritime sector project management
- PSU/Govt. candidates: 1 year in immediate lower pay scale
Desirable: Training/consultancy/policy advisory roles | Knowledge of classification society rules (IRS, DNV, LR, ABS) | Strategic planning skills
2. Lead Engineer (R&D) (1 Post) | ₹1,25,000/month | Age: 35–45 years
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical / Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering
Essential Experience:
- 12 years of managerial experience in Ship design / Shipyard / R&D organizations
- At least 4 years managing large projects or R&D in Commercial or Defence Shipbuilding/Maritime sectors
Desirable: Knowledge of IRS, DNV, LR, ABS classification society rules | Stakeholder management
3. Manager (Training & Skill Development) (1 Post) | ₹80,000/month | Age: Max 40 years

Selection Process
- All posts: Screening of applications → Personal Interview
- Posts 4–7 (Asst. Manager Technical/IT, Executive Finance/HR): Written Test may also be conducted depending on number of applications received
- Shortlisting based on uploaded certificates; only shortlisted candidates called for certificate verification
- Merit/rank list: aggregate marks in Written Test (if applicable) + Personal Interview
- Rank list validity: 18 months from the date of last candidate’s joining from that list
- No TA/DA for attending selection process
- Call letters via email/ISTC website — NOT by post

India Ship Technology Centre (ISTC) is a Section 8 Company (non-profit company under Companies Act, 2013) incorporated under the aegis of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India.
