Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer for all Group A, B & C posts. Exception: No negative marking for MTS post. Minimum qualifying marks: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD | 30% for all others.

Frequently Asked Questions
❓ What is CCRUM and why is this a good opportunity?
CCRUM (Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine) is the apex autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, headquartered at Janakpuri, New Delhi. Established in 1978, it conducts scientific research in the Unani system of medicine through 24 institutes/centers across India. A CCRUM job offers permanent central government employment with 7th CPC pay and NPS pension.
❓ Can 10th pass candidates apply for CCRUM 2026?
Yes. Candidates who have passed Matriculation (10th) or ITI from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) post — 43 vacancies available. MTS is the entry-level Group C position in CCRUM.
❓ Is there negative marking in the CCRUM CBT exam?
Yes. A penalty of 0.25 marks is deducted for each wrong answer for all Group A, B, and C posts. However, there is NO negative marking for the MTS post specifically. Minimum qualifying marks are 30% for General candidates and 25% for SC/ST/PwBD.
❓ Where will candidates be posted after selection?
Selected candidates may be posted at CCRUM Headquarters (New Delhi) or at any of its 24 Regional Research Institutes/Centers across India. All posts carry All India Transfer Liability, so candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in India.
❓ Are these permanent government jobs?
Yes. All 179 posts are regular (permanent) central government positions under CCRUM/Ministry of AYUSH. Selected candidates are placed on 2-year probation, extendable at the competent authority’s discretion, and governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS).
❓ What are the CBT exam centres?
CBT will be conducted at New Delhi/Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati. CCRUM reserves the right to add or cancel examination centres based on operational requirements.
❓ Can I apply for multiple posts?
Yes. Candidates can apply for multiple posts. However, each post requires a separate application with separate fee payment. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for each post you apply to before paying the fee.
