About CERT-In
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), also known as ICERT, is a statutory body established in 2004 under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. It functions as the national nodal agency for responding to cyber security incidents and threats, as mandated under the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. CERT-In is responsible for coordinating cyber security incident response, issuing alerts and advisories, and building India’s cyber resilience ecosystem.

Selection Process
- GATE Score Shortlisting: Discipline-wise and category-wise in ratio 1:5 based on best valid GATE score (CS/DA/EC) from 2024, 2025, or 2026. Equal weightage to all three years.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear with originals. Failure to produce documents leads to rejection.
