State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a Special Recruitment Drive for 1,538 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts in the clerical cadre to fill backlog vacancies reserved for SC, ST and OBC categories across 20 states and UTs vide Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16 dated 07.08.2026. Online registration is open from 7 to 27 August 2026.

Who Can Apply?
Only SC, ST and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are eligible. General and EWS candidates cannot apply.
Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2026)
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Final year students may apply provisionally — proof of graduation required by 31.12.2026 if selected.

Selection Process
- Phase-I – Preliminary Exam (Online, 1 hour, 100 marks): English Language (30Q/30M/20min) · Numerical Ability (35Q/35M/20min) · Reasoning Ability (35Q/35M/20min). Prelims marks NOT counted in final merit — qualifying only.
- Phase-II – Main Exam (Online, 2 hrs 40 min, 200 marks): General/Financial Awareness (50Q/50M/35min) · General English (40Q/40M/35min) · Quantitative Aptitude (50Q/50M/45min) · Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (50Q/60M/45min). Final merit based on Main exam marks only.
- Phase-III – Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Qualifying. Candidates who studied local language in Class 10/12 are exempted.
⚠️ Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted per wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains.
SBI Trained Apprentices (engagement start date on or after 01.01.2022) get bonus 5 marks in Main Exam.
