Eligibility Criteria

| (i) | Appointment shall be made from amongst the senior faculty members of NIT Warangal on the recommendations of the duly constituted Selection Committee, as per Statute 23(5)(a) of the relevant Statutes |
| (ii) | Must possess a minimum of 5 (five) years of experience as Professor |
| (iii) | Age must not exceed 60 years as on the closing date of submission of applications (i.e., 7 August 2026) |
| (iv) | Should have adequate administrative experience, preferably having served as Head of Department (HoD) / Dean for minimum 2 years |
| (v) | Should have made significant contribution in academics, administration, research, institutional development, and outreach activities |
| (vi) | Should be an eminent academician in his/her field of specialization with an outstanding academic record throughout |
| (vii) | Other terms and conditions as specified in the NIT Act & Statutes |
About the Deputy Director Role
The Deputy Director at NIT Warangal is a senior administrative position responsible for assisting the Director in the overall management and administration of the Institute. This is a prestigious role requiring exceptional academic credentials combined with proven administrative leadership.
